Brandon Messinger returns to HOB Salons

OpenChairNight

It’s safe to say Brandon Messinger has smashed into 2019 with big news, announcing he’s returning to HOB salons, and heading up the salon group’s Camden Town Salon as their style director! Way to go Brandon.
A longtime member of HairClubLive, we follow this chap’s career with interest. Brandon worked for HOB Salons in 2014 as a senior stylist, before spending the past few years going solo to established his own name in the industry by securing titles such as BHA Eastern hairdresser of the year, and winning Silver at the 2018 Wella TrendVision awards (not forgetting his making the shortlist for both the Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s FAME team and Alternative Hair show Visionary award). Eagle-eyed readers of HCL news will recall that most recently we posted news of Brandon getting through the semi-finals of BangStyle’s reign supreme comptition.
On rejoining HOB Salons, Brandon says: “I have always admitted that the biggest regret of my career was leaving HOB in 2014. Akin Konizi is my ultimate hero, and so much of my work is inspired by and reminiscent of the HOB aesthetic! I wouldn’t have returned to London to work with any other salon group. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with the people and clients, to learning and growing as an artist and a person.”
Sounds like a perfect re-match to us. We can’t wait to hear what Brandon gets up to at HOB Salons.
