Way to go! In November 2017, friends and members of Hair Club Live at the Rainbow Room International recorded a Christmas single to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, and got a spot on STV (Scottish Television) singing on Live at Five!
The Christmas single is called Christmas Feelings and was produced, written, sung and recorded by David Nicholson, owner and Salon Director of the Royal Exchange Square salon, Rachael from the Rainbow Room International Ayr salon and Alijah from the Rainbow Room International Bearsden salon.
STV soon heard about the good doing of the RRI angels and invited them in for Live at Five to perform in the studio!
David Nicholson, Owner of Rainbow Room International’s Royal Exchange Square salon, commented, “It was fantastic opportunity to be able to perform on Live at Five and get the word out there about our Rainbow Room International group and Teenage Cancer Trust and what a fantastic charity it is. We all had really enjoyed our time on the show!”
Not only have Rainbow Room International recorded a single in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust, across the 12 salon strong group they’ve also organised dress down days, pyjama days, bake sales as well as selling wrist bands and pin badges to raise money for the trust. We’re proud of y’all!
The Teenage Cancer Trust produce world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support ensuring young people don’t have to face cancer alone. Bravo Rainbow Rooms!
You can buy Christmas Feelings on Paypal or you can pop in to their salons and purchase it there for a minimum donation of £3.00 (all proceeds go to the Teenage Cancer Trust). See the pictures below:
