Our friends at Schwarzkopf have announced the line up for the NEW Young Artistic Team 2020. Ventures such as this are an opportunity for younger hairdressers to develop their skills outside the salon. To win a spot, competitors had to show off talent and skill to impress the judges! They’re looking forward individuality and creativeness, and really want to see personality in their work.
PROMOTING YOUNG TALENT
Good to see Rick Roberts, premium member of HairClubLive getting with the programme and supporting his team in learning new skills both in and out of the salon. His stylist Georgia Todd led the field of ambitious youngsters. On the day, to win her place, Georgia (like all the competitors obviously) had to present a model with hair pre-coloured using Schwarzkopf Professional, and cut a minimum of 5cm on the day. The rest was up to them.
The hairdressers worked extremely hard to impress the judges who included our friends and HCL fans Casey Coleman and of course, Dom Lehane! They were joined by renowned session stylist, Louis Byrne, and session stylist Pete Burkhill with Laura Husband from Hairdressers Journal.
On the day Casey Coleman said: “I’m super excited to see these 6 young hairdressers start their journey and to see how they put their personal stamp on our industry.”
